Bina Bhakta
Bina Bhakta was born in India and moved to the United States at the age of ten. She spent her formative years in Georgia before settling in California after her marriage. Together with her husband, she built a life in Colton, where they raised their two children and became deeply rooted in the community they proudly call home.
Bina joined Rotary in 2014 through the encouragement of Dr. Manzoor Massey. From the very beginning, she found a natural home in Rotary, inspired by its guiding principle of Service Above Self and its belief that ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference through service.
A true people person, Bina enjoys connecting with others, building lasting friendships, and learning from the unique experiences of those she meets. She believes that some of the greatest acts of service come through kindness, compassion, and simply being there for someone in need.
Beyond Rotary, Bina enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with family and friends. As President of the Crossroads Rotary Club of San Bernardino/Loma Linda, she looks forward to strengthening fellowship, expanding community service, and creating meaningful opportunities for members to serve together and make a lasting impact.
Bina believes that leadership is not about standing above others but standing alongside them—listening, encouraging, and serving with humility. She is honored to lead the club with an open heart, a positive spirit, and a steadfast commitment to Rotary's mission of Service Above Self.
